Full Biography

Gayle M. Irwin is an award-winning author and freelance writer, being recognized by Wyoming Writers, Inc., and the Wyoming Press Association for several of her works. She is a contributor to seven editions of Chicken Soup for the Soul, with an 8th story forthcoming in January 2023. She also writes inspirational books and stories for children and adults. Her sweet, contemporary romance series, Pet Rescue Romance, consists of Rhiann's RescueRescue RoadPaws-ing for LoveMy Montana Love, and Finding Love at Compassion Ranch. Gayle also has written three devotionals, incorporating lessons people can learn from dogs; Cladach Publishing in Greeley, Colorado published Walking in Trust: Lessons Learned with My Blind Dog, after the co-owner met Gayle at a writer's conference.

She is also the author of several pet books for children, weaving life lessons into the stories such as courage, perseverance, friendship, and nature appreciation. Gayle freelances for several magazines, print and online, including WREN (Wyoming Rural Electric News), Raised in the West, Wyoming Medicine, ConfluenceCreation Illustrated, and Pregnancy Help News. 

She enjoys encouraging and helping other writers; her "Make Your Mark: Targeting Your Book to the Right Audience" program assists authors who prefer writing their book over marketing their book. Gayle also volunteers for various dog rescue and humane society organizations and donates a percentage of all book sales to such groups. Her hobbies include travel, nature photography, and transporting animals for rescue organizations. She and her husband, Greg, live in Wyoming with their rescued, adopted pets.
